A Survey of the Outcome of Childhood Asthma.

An outcome of 416 children who was diagnosed and treated for bronchial asthma at pediatric department of National Medical Center from 1965 to 1984 was surveyed using return postcard. The following results were obtained. 1) We mailed 416 cards and 74 cards (17.8%) were returned. 2) 37.8% of the patients had been entirely asymptomatic for a year or more and 32.5% improved. 22.9% of the patients...
