Cardiac function associated with home ventilator care in Duchenne muscular dystrophy

Cardiomyopathy is becoming the leading cause of death in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy because mechanically assisted lung ventilation and assisted coughing have helped resolve respiratory complications.
