Kawasaki disease is an acute illness of early childhood, especially less than 5 years of age, characterized by prolonged fever(> 5 days), changes of lips and oral cavity, changes of peripheral extremities, polymorphous skin rash, bilateral conjunctival congestion and acute nonpurulent cervical lymphadenopathy.
