Neonatal adrenal hemorrhage is not uncommon due to its relative large size and vascularity, thus making it vulnerable to traumatic and asphyxial injuries. It뭩 etiology is unknown, but postulated etiologies include maternal diabetes, obstetric trauma, asphyxia, thrombocytopenia and coagulation defect.
