Studies were done for the causes of anemia on 964 newborn infants delivered at Seoul National University Hospital from April, 1970 to September, 1971. A case of primary liver cell carcinoma developed in 8 months old male infant is reported and brief review of literature on liver cell carcinoma in infancy & childhood is performed. This report represents a case of liver cell carcinoma in a youngest infant reported in Korea.

A Case of Congenital Duodenal Atresia

A case of three day old male infant with a congenital duodenal atresia (Diaphragmatic type, Preampullary type) is reported with brief literature review. The first signs were vomiting and abdominal distension. Because of the poor general condition of the patient surgical intervention was not possible. After three days admission the patient expired. The condition was confirmed clinically by X-ray and reconfirmed at autopsy.
