Intussusception in Schdnlein-Henoch Vasculitis

Intussusception as a complication of Schdnlein-Henoch Vasculitis is rare but interesting laeacuse of the diagnostic problems. The world literature reports about 40 cases, incluing one case previously reported in Korea. In this article we report the case of a 4 year old boy whose intussusception was treated surgically during his 4 days admission, and we make a review of the literature.

Ectopic Ureter Entering the Vagina with Renal Hypoplasia

An unusual case of right ectopic ureter with renal hypoplasia was presented. The ectopic ureter drained into the vagina showed marked stenosis with non-specific inflammation. The affected-side kidney revealed cystic, chronic glomerulonephritis and pyelonephritis. The abnormalities was suspected by IVP, cystoscopy and methylene blue dye test and was confirmed by operation. She was treated by ureteronephrectomy.
