One patient with a history of recurrent bacterial meningitis was examined with skull and sinus radiographs, routine cranial computed tomography and immunologic evaluation. None of these studies were diagnostic. Thin-section (1-2 mm) direct coronal computed cranial tomography demonstrated congenital cribriform plate defect.
