- Abstract
- Agenesis of corpus callosum is a relatively comon malformation that may occur in isolation or in combination with other cerebral malformations. A male newborn who presented generalized convulsion showed agenesis of the corpus callosum and septum pellusidum, gyral malformation, and diffuse leukomalacia on postmortem examinations. Also a female newborn with a cystic lesion in brain by antenatal neurosonography showed partial agenesis of the corpus callosum. We present above two cases with clinical, radiologic, and pathologic findings and brief review.
