- Abstract
- A case of necrotizing enterocolitis was associated with cow and soy milk intolerance in a term infant. The infant developed symptoms and radiologic findings-pneumatosis intestinalis and portal vein gas-after ingestion of cow and soy milk. Vomiting and diarrhea recurred with reintroduction of either cow or soy milk several times. The infant remained asymptomatic with a good growth rate on breast milk and Nutramigen.
