We experienced a case of an aberrant right subclavian artery associated with an anomalous origin of the right common carotid artery in a female newborn, who showed severe respiratory distress soon after birth. The diagnosis was confirmed by aortogram and operative findings. The ligature and section of the aberrent right subclavian artery resulted in improvement of respiratory distress.
