- Abstract
- Bone marrow necrosis is a rare complication most commonly encountered in patients with leuke-
mia, metastatic tumor in marrow, sickle cell disease, DIC and severe infections.
Recently it is regarded as a more common finding frequently overlooked and carrying not so poor
prognosis. We reported here a boy with ALL who showed marrow necrosis on biopsy at the time of
diagnosis and achieved complete remission with receovery of necrosis 63 days after diagnossis by
intensive chemotherapy.
