- Abstract
- 65 Cases of febrile convulsion were reviewed in terms of their clinical pictures and factors related
to their recurrences.
Seemingly related factors are:
1) age of first episode: The age of first ipisode was under 12months of age in 11.4% of initial cases
and 46.7% of recurrent cases.
2) family history of convulsive disorder: There were family history of convulsive disorder in 23.4%
of recurrent cases, compare to 2.9% of initial cases.
3) duration of episode: Duration of episode was less than 5mins in 71.5% of initial cases, whereas
it was only 46.7% in recurrent cases.
