- Abstract
- Metatropic dwarfism is rare skeletal dysplasia characterized by short extremities, bulbous enlarge-
ment of the joints, joint limitation and progressive and ultimately severe kyphoscoliosis.
We have experienced one case of metatropic dwarfism. The diagnosis was established by clinical,
radiological and pathologic findings.
The patient was died six days after delivery. A brief review of literature was made.
