- Abstract
- Congenital asplenia syndrome is associated with malposition and malformation of other organ
system such as congenital heart disease, patial or complete situs inversus, symmetric lobulation of the
liver and the lung. This is a rare syndrome but has been reported in increaseing frequency in recent
years.
We experienced three cases of this single ventricle with asplenia. One is confirmed by autopsy and
the others are diaqnosed by other methods Literatures were reviewed briefly.
