- Abstract
- We Have experienced a case of Turner’s syndrome with horseshoe kidney, hydronephrosis and
gastrointestinal bleeding in a 5 months old female.
The patient presented with huge palpable abdominal masses, high arched palate, micrognathia and
hypoplasia of finger and toenails. On operation, horseshoe kidney, hydronephrosis and obstruction of
left ureteropelvic junction and atresia of left ureter were found. Left nephrectomy was performed. The
child was diagnosed as Turner’s syndrome which was confirmed by karyotype showing 45, X.
