- Abstract
- Arteriovenous fistula is an abnormal vascular structure that establishes a communication
between an artery and a vein without the interposition of the capillary bed. We experienced a case of
iatrogenic femoral arteriovenous fistula in a six month-old girl. She was admitted with the chief complaint of different size of both lower leg which was first noted about l?/2 months PT A. She had 2 times of admission history and multiple femoral puncture was done at that time for the blood sampling. After arteriovenous fistula between femoral artery and vein was confirmed on femeral arteriogram, the repair of fistula was done.
A brief review of related literature was presented.
