- The Statistical Studies on the Emergency Room Patients under the 15 Years of age.

- Abstract
- The studies were carried out to analyze the emergency patients visited to the emergency room of the Eul Ji General Hospital under the 15 years during the 15 years during the three years from Mar., 1981 to Feb” 1984.
The results were obtained as below; 1)During the 3 years period, the total number of emergency patients under the 15 years of age, was 6,217. 2)Twenty nine percents of the total patients were admitted. 3)The total number of the male patients 3,896 and females 2,321. 4)Distribution of ages showed the peak incidence was below 2 years of age(46.9%). 5)Monthly distribution of visits revealed higher incidence in Sep., Aug., Oct. and lower incidence in Feb. 6)The most popular time of visiting to emergency room was between 2 : 30 PM and 9 : 30 PM.
7)Distribution of diseases and injury in according to the Korean Standard Disease classification was as below. Respiratory disease(30.9%), Injury and Poisoning(23.3%) infectious disease(22.7%). 8)Most frequent primary diagnosis of emergency causes were as below: Diarrhea, URI, Pneumonia.
