- Abstract
- The reliability of transcutaneous oxygen tension was evaluated with simultaneous arterial oxygen tension in 70 nonsick and 30 sick neonates who were admitted to the nursery of Ewha womans University Hospital from Feb. 1984 to June 1984. The results were obtained as follows; 1)The relation between transcutaneous oxygen tension and arterial blood oxygen tension in nonsick neonate was y=43.31 + 0.49 x, r=0.79(p<0.01, n=70). 2)The relation between transcutaneou oxygen tension and arterial blood oxygen tension in 30 sick neonate was y=43.78+0.41 x, r=0.62 (p<0.001, n=75). (1)The relation in hypoxic group(PaO2<60 mmHg, n = 15) was y=28.64 + 1.63 x, r=0.50(p>0.05). (2)The relation in normoxic group(60 mmHg
100 mmHg) was y=72.07+0.25 x, r=0.67(P
