- Abstract
- Reiter’s syndrome is a rare disease and no case was reported in pediatric field in this country.
We experienced a case of Reiter’ s syndrome, developed to 11 year old boy who presented
cardinal symptoms and signs of this syndrome, urethritis, conjunctivitis and arthritis
associated with high fever. HLA-B 27 antigen was positive. These conditions were preceded
by Shigellosis like enteritis. Symptoms were improved with supportive therapy including aspirin.
