- Three Cases of Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus in Children.

- Abstract
- We experienced three cases of Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus, which revealed fullfilling-
all characteristics of clinical 技 laboratory finding during recent 3 years.
Two diabetic children among three patients had developed diabetic ketoacidosis.
The one of the two cases, 14 aged girl complained of dyspnea & severe emaciation.
The another case, 11 year and 2 month-old boy who had cataract complained of severe
epigastric pain, intermittent vomiting and dyspnea.
The last case among three diabetic children, 3 year and 8 month aged girl had chief
complaints of polyuria, polyphagia, polydipsia and weight loss.
Two cases among three patients were treated successfully, but one case was not controlled
completely due to incooperation.
A brief review of related literatures was also presented.
