A Case of Ulcerative Colitis.

Abstract

The authors experienced a case of ulcerative colitis of a 12-year old female patient. We diagnosed it through the evaluation of clinical and radiographic features. The surgical and histopathologic findings aid to the confirmation of the diagnosis. On. operation, which was carried out because of the development of complication, panperitonitis due to bowel perforation, on the 5th hospital day, we observed a rare case of ileal involvement with perforation. The authors report this case with brief review of literatures.
