- Abstract
- The predilection sites of skeletal tuberculosis are mainly weight-bearing bones such as vertebrae,
hip and knee joint. Involvement of non-weight bearing bones are rare.
We experienced an unusual case of tuberculous osteomyelitis of the mandible in 3-year-5-month old female.
The diagnosis was established by positive tuberculin skin test, roentgenographic findings and biopsy.
Herein, a case of Tuberculous Osteomyelitis of Mandible was presented with
a brief review of the related literatures.
