- Abstract
- We have experienced two cases of pulmonary sequestrations. The first case, 49/I2 year old
girl, was admitted for ths evaluation of recurrent pneumonia of left lower lung. The diagnosis
of pulmonary sequestration was made by aortography, which demonstrate tortuous aberrant
artery suppling the left posterobasal segment from the intrathoracic descending aorta at Tlo
유卜 level, and the sequestration was successfully resected by lobectomy. The second case, 23/K
year old boy was admitted for the cardiac catheterization because of acyanotic congenital heart
diseass. The cardiac catheterization and aortography was done and pulmonic stenosis and
vascular ring was diagnosed. In addition, pulmonary sequestration was diagnosed by demo-
nstrating the abarrant artery suppling the left lower posterobasal segment from the descending
aorta incidentally.
