- Abstract
- Sin:e tae introiucdon of isoniazid in ;1952, periodic reports of intentional or accidental
intoxications complicate! by generalize! convulsions have appeared. Only 31 cases, to our
knowlelge, have reportei in English literature until 1980 in pediatric age group. In Korea,
oily two cases of a?ite isoniazid intoxication in childhood reported, although there are high
incideiee of T.B. ani frequent use of isoniazid. We have experienced two accidental cases
of acute poisonin꿍 from an overdose of isoniazid in childhood, one was expired 19 hours after
admission, the other was recovered without any abnormal physical findings.
