A Case of Staphylococcal Scalded Skin Syndrome.

Abstract
The authors experienced a case of staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome in 6 month old male infant and reported with brief review of literatures. His chief complaints on admission were fever, vomiting, and watery diarrhea for one day. On the fourth hospitalization day, generalized erythema was developed which was followed by generalized skin exfoliation and methicillin therapy was started. On the third day after methicillin therapy, vomiting and watery diarrhea were dramatically improved and on the seventh day, the skin was almost completely recovered without scarring except necrotic lesion of left heel. But both eyes were affected by corneal scarring.
