- Abstract
- The clinical and radiographic findings in two cases of organizing pneumonia in children simulating pulmonary masses are presented. The clinical feature of case 1 is chest pain and dry cough only, but the case 2 shows sudden acute illness, with pulmonary symptoms and signs, responding poorly to antibiotic treatment. Resection of superior segment, left lower lobes done in case 1. Frozen section may be diagnostic of organizing pneumonia in case 2. The pathogenesis in obscure. We have presented these cases and have reviewed the literatures.
