- Abstract
- Bacterium Alcaligenes (Alcaligenes Fecalis) is usually known as a harmless Gram-Negative saprophyte in the human intestinal tract. But in occasion, the organism can be pathogenic. A few number of human infection has been reported and their clinical pictures are barious depending upon the organ involved. Recently we have experienced a case of septicemia by Alcaligenes Fecalis, We are reporting the clinical features, laboratory data and our experiences of the patient with the review of the literatures.
