- Abstract
- Intussusception in Henoch-Schoenlein purpura is of interest because of its rarity and the importance of making what may be a difficult diagnosis. In the world literature there were less than 40 cases of intussusception in Henoch-Schoenlein purpura up to 1962 by Grossman et al. Our patient seems to be the first case in Korea. We presented a case of intussusception in Henoch-Schoenlein purpura in a 8 year and 7 month old male child operated during the acute phase, and reviewed the literature.
