- Abstract
- A study of the hemoglobin F concentration in 55 unselected cord blood sample by Agargel electrophoresis from the newborn infants who were admitted to Chosun university hospital from April 1975 through August., 1975., was performed Following results were obstained. 1.The mean value of HgbF was 92.6 per cent and varied from 81.3 per cent to 98.2 percent. 2.The mean value for 47 full term babies was 91.8 per cent and four premature infants
was 96.2 per cent. 3.There was no significant correlation between per cent of fetal hemoglobin with the
following varables; sex, term, birth Wt. parity and maternal age.
