- Abstract
- A case of congenital ileal obstruction in a 2 day old female newborn infant was presented with brief literature review. Malrotation of midgut, dilated proximal ileal loop, distal ileal blind loop connected with fibrous cord to proximal ileal loop were seen. Resection of atonic dilated ileal loop and fibrous cord, followed ty end to side ileoileostomyddone. Patient discharged 16 days after operation with good general condition and regular weight
gain.
