- Abstract
- Two cases of infectious mononucleosis were presented. They were admitted with chief complaints of fever and puffy face for the past 2 weeks. They showed characteristic atypical lymphocytes in peripheral blood smear associated with lymphocytosis. Monospot test was positive in first case, but negative in second case.
They took self limtied course without any specific treatment and discharged without any complication.
A brief review of literature was also presented.
