- A Case of Neuroblastoma Originated from Maxillary Region

- Abstract
- Neuroblastoma is one the most common malignant neoplasms such as leukemia, CNS tumors and Wilms’ tumor.
Although neuroblastoma has been primarily observed in many locations such as retroperitoneal,,mediastinal, pelvic and cervical region etc., a boy aged 7 year and 11 month with neuroblastoma originated from left maxillary region was observed who was admitted to the Pediatric ward of Chonnam University Hospital complaining of headache and chestnut sized mass at the left maxillary region for about 3 months. Diagnosis was confirmed by radiologic examination for evaluation of cavital origin and by histologic examination of left maxillary mass, scalp nodules, liver, lymph nodes and bone marrow. A brief review of literatures was made.
