- Abstract
- A case of tricuspid atresia in 50 day old male infant was presented. In cardiac catheterization, catheter was introduced from right greatsaphenous vein to the right atrium where the introducing of catheter was no more possible, despite of many efforts, but the catheter was passed into the left atrium through the foramen ovale.
On angiocardiography, placing the catheter in right atrium, injected hypaque was not passed to right ventricle, and so, the diagnosis of tricuspid atresia was confirmed. The review of literature was made briefly.
