- Abstract
- We had a case of total anomalous pulmonary venous drainage, a 10 years old schoolboy who admitted to our Severance Hospital with chief problems of exertional dyspnea, palpitation, and known congenital heart disease since infancy. We confirmed this case as a total anomalous pulmonary venous connection to persistent left inno
minate vein which drains into right atrium, atrial septal defect (secundum type), and valvular pulmonary stenosis which probably due to flow gradient, by means of Chest X-Ray, EKG, data from Cardiac Catheterization, and Cinecardioangiogram. We also reviewed the embryogenesis, incidence, classification of the anatomic types, and the prognosis of this anomaly.
