- Abstract
- A case of congenital bochdalek hernia in a 13-year-old Korean female, was reported. As far as we know, this is the oldest in pediatric age group, which is reported in Korea. She was admitted to pediatric ward, Ewha Womans University Hospital for routine physical check up with chief complaints of easy fatigability and general weakness day by day. Diagnosis was established chiefly on the basis of roentgenographic findings including chest X-ray
and barium enema. The hernia was successfully corrected by abdominal approach. Review of literatures as for congenital diaphragmatic hernia was also attempted briefly.
