- Change of Laboratory Data of Blood Specimen by Stored Time

- Abstract
- 32 adult blood specimen were stored in the refrigerator which maintained the temperature from 6 to 9 degrees in centigrade in order to know the change of laboratory data by time. Routine C.B.C. and blood chemistry were performed 4 times, with the intervals, immediately after then, 6,12 and 24 hours after sampling. The results obtained are as follows: 1. Hb, Het, R.B.C., W.B.C. with differential count, serum chloride and CO2 content were not
changed significantly by time. 2.Serum Na and K levels were changed significantly by time. 3.Blood sugar level has decreased by time without significance. 4.With the above results, it is recommanded the serum Na and K levels should be checked as soon as posible after getting blood specimen.
