- Abstract
- This paper presents the four cases of Progressive Muscular Dystrophy experienced during past one year from May 1965 to June 1966. All of them were male patients, their age were 7,10,15 and 7 years of age respectively and Case
I and Case 2 were siblings. The four cases were classified clinically as Duchene Type of Muscular Dystrophy, but the Case 3 was much more resemble to the Fascio-Scapulo-Humoral Type (Landouzy and Dejerine Type).
The creatin and creatinine ratio in urine was remarkably increased in all cases, the high titer o£ S.G.O.T. was demonstrated in one of them. The muscle biopsy findings showed the typical, advanced histological features in Case 3 and 4, and the others presented the mild histological changes compared with the clinical findings.
