The total incidence of Orthostatic Albuminuria in rural children was 5.3%, it occurred most often in late childhood and showed higher frequency in females. The quantity of protein in the urine varied from a trace to 5 gm per liter, and the most of them excreted 1-3 gm protein per liter of the urine.
Their general health was fair, or more often there were the episode of frequent cold, urticaria and the habit of unbalanced diet. And they were often lordortic, slender and tended to be asthenic. Also, the enlarged tonsilles and positive dermographism were noted in 31,34 of children with Orthostatic Albuminuria respectively.
