- Triology of Fallot: Three Cases of Radical Operation

- Abstract
- Out of 310 operation cases for congenital cardiac malformations 3 cases of trilogy of Fallot were found in this department. All of them were cyanotic. A 28 years old woman with situs inversus totalis, a 6 years old boy, and a 11 years old girl were operated on utilizing cardiopulmonary bypass for trilogy of Fallot. In two cases pulmonary stenosis was valvular type and the boy had combined pulmonary stenosis. Two cases showed excellent postoperative results. The third case with combined pulmonary stenosis expired on the first postoperative day
manifesting acute aortic insufficiency.
