Abstract
We examined the responses about mother’s voice, flickering red light from an electric bulb and an optokinetic tape, in 7 days and 28 days old newborn infant respectively, and observed specific responses about mother’s voice and flickering red light. These facts suggest that newborn infants have somewhat higher level of the central nerve :function. We expect to apply this to further neurologic examination of the newborn infants.
