- Abstract
- A severe case of Stevens-Johnson syndrome was reported in a 6 year old boy receiving sulfa
drug for a period of 5 days for treatment of URI, with extensive involvement of the skin, eye,
and mucouse membrane of the mouth, pharynx, nose, anus and genitourinary tract.
Despite widespread and serious involvement of the eye and mouth, the patient recovered without
any residual impairment.
