- An Autopsy Report of a Congenital Hydrocephalus

- Abstract
- A congenital hydrocephalic female who was delivered : by Cesarean section at Seoul Sanitarium and Hospital died after 18 days delivery, and her pathologic and anatomical diagnosis and findings were as follows. 1. Congenital hydrocephalus, non-communicating. a) Hypoplasia of third ventricle. b)Aplasia of aqueduct of Sylvius and fourth ventricle. c)Separation of sutures and widening of fontanels. d)Accumulation of CSF in cranial cavity, 500 cc.
2)Single solitary pneumonitis, focal with abscess, apex of right upper lobe. 3.Generalized passive congestions were seen in liver, adrenals, spleen, lungs, kidney and heart. Literature review was made on this sudject.
