- Study on Gastric Juice in Cases with Diseases of Central Norvous System

- Abstract
- The gastric juice analysis was done in 21 cases of central nervous system dseases and compared with 5 cases of control group (non central nervous system diseases) and summary of the results are followings. 1) The free and total acidity of the gastric juice in the group of C.N.S. disease are higher than those of the control group. 2) The free and total acidity of the gastric juice in convulsive stage are higher than those of convalescent stage. 3) In the group received steroid hormone, the acidity of the gastric juice is higher than that of non steroid group. 4)In convulsive group received steroid hormone, the acidity of the gastric juice is higher than that of nonsteroid convulsive group.
5)In group of poor outcome, the acidity of the gastric juice is also higher comparing with that of the group with good prognosis.
