A Case of Acute Lymphatic Leukemia in Early Infant

Abstract

A case of acute lymphatic leukemia was observed in 3 month old male infant It is the first case of primary leukemia in Korea. The chief complaint of the patient was purpuras on the inguinal region, abdmen and trunk. Bone marrow finding revealed 90% to 95% of highly immature blast form, most likely lymphoblasts. A review of literature on the primary leukemia in the childhood was done.
