- Abstract
- An autopsy case of transposition of the great vessels which was found from a male caucian newborn has been presented. Inspite of intensive care with symptomatic treatment, cyanosis and congestive heart failure were developed progressively and the newborn has died on 23rd day after birth. At autopsy, interauricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus and right ventricular hypertrophy were also found beside of complete transposition of the great vessels. Pathophysiology and discussion were briefly reviewed.
