- Abstract
- A case of round cell sarcoma in a 9-month-old male infant associated with hyperlipemia was presented. For 3 months before admission, multiple nodules developed progressively on the body surface of head, abdomen and extremities, which were firm, purple and yellowish colored and varied in size from finger tip to hen egg. The diagnosis of round cell sarcoma established by the biopsy of a nodule. Hyperlipemia was also disclosed on the serum lipid staining of the electric strip in the electrophoresis with normal serum cholesterol level. The interrelationship between malignant neoplasm and lipid metabolism was discussed.
