- 6-MP and Prednisolone in the Treatment of Steroid-refractory Nephrotic Syndrome

- Abstract
- A case of steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome, which responded to the administration of 100 mg. daily of 6-MP for 20 days, is presented. During intermittent therapy, recurrence has been frequent with or without the precedence of upper respiratory infection. Despite continuous administration of prednisolone of 60 to 70 mg. for 2 numths, remission was not followed, but 6-MP induced complete remission of nephrotic syndrome.
