Clinical Observation of Infectious Hepatitis

Abstract
107 cases of infectious hepatitis seen at Severance Hospital were clinically observed. The number of hepatitis patients incerased in 1958, 1963 and 1966. The most frequent age group was 3 to 5, year more frequent in males. The symptoms in order of frequency were anorexia, dark urine, fever, jaundice, and all cases below 2 years of age had diarrhea. All cases observed had liver enlargement Most cases showed abnormal findings of liver function. One fatal case was fulminating type, and 2 cases showed cirrhotic change.
