- Clinical Observation of Infectious Hepatitis

- Abstract
- 107 cases of infectious hepatitis seen at Severance Hospital were clinically observed. The number
of hepatitis patients incerased in 1958, 1963 and 1966. The most frequent age group was 3 to 5, year
more frequent in males. The symptoms in order of frequency were anorexia, dark urine, fever, jaundice,
and all cases below 2 years of age had diarrhea. All cases observed had liver enlargement Most
cases showed abnormal findings of liver function. One fatal case was fulminating type, and 2 cases
showed cirrhotic change.
