NEFA (Non-Esterified Fatty Acids) Contents in the Sera and Cerebrospinal Fluid of Pediatric Healthy Children and Patients

Abstract
NEFA CNon-Esterified Fatfcy Acids) contents of Sera in healthy children was 452/zEq/L. and which of cerebrospinal fluid was 28 //Eq/L. In epidemic encephalitis (Japanese B type) and tuberculous meningitis, markedly increased NEFA contents were noted- in the cerebrospinal fluid with little increase in the Sera. More increased NEFA contents in the cerebrospinal fluid were noted in tuberculous meningitis than epidemic encephalitis.
