- Abstract
- The determination of lactic acid and sugar contents has been made for the cerebrospinal fluid in such
pathological conditions as tuberculous meningitis (7cases), encephalitis japonica(9 cases), and normal
children(6 cases). In tuberculous : meningitis, the lactic acid contents was increased remarkably in disproportion to the normal one in which it was present in which it was present in trace, while the sugar content was reduced.
The lactic acid content in encephalitis japonica was increased slightly than normal with the almost normal
value of sugar content.
